Fibromyalgia, Part 1

Fibromyalgia, a painful debilitating musculoskeletal disorder, is being diagnosed at an ever-increasing rate. This syndrome is now estimated to be, after osteoarthritis, the second most common musculoskeletal disorder, more common even than rheumatoid arthritis.

In this webinar, we will cover fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), from disease overview and causes, to lifestyle and diet considerations, to natural therapies.

Exercise is critical in treating FMS. We will also focus on nutritional supplements, including several new remedies that show promise as very valuable for FMS. Learn dose, form and strategy. We will discuss exceptionally clinically effective herbs that treat pain, relax muscles and speed healing.

We will also focus on hands‑on therapy and topical treatments.

The class handouts will include recent published articles by Khalsa, Chinese herbs for pain and sleep, outstanding Ayurvedic treatments and clinical pearls from modern naturopathy.

K.P. Khalsa is the author of a major textbook on fibromyalgia, and the originator of the THRIVE protocol. He specializes in the treatment of fibromyalgia.
