Learn about the newest trend in health and weight loss diets. Lectin-free eating is having a moment. But what exactly is a lectin, you say?

Lectins are proteins in plants that have been associated with both positive and negative health effects, and some plant-based foods, such as beans and legumes, whole grains, and certain vegetables contain a high amount of lectins. They are categorized as antinutrients since they block the absorption of some nutrients. Lectins may cause an upset stomach when plant foods are eaten uncooked, and the reason why it can be dangerous to eat undercooked legumes.

Some scientists believe lectins are harmful and cause inflammation and link them to autoimmune diseases, including celiac disease, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis. Following a lectin-free diet could be a way to lower inflammation in the body, which could help you lose weight and avoid chronic disease.

This enlightening webinar will unpack the details of the lectin-free diet.
